Rail Explorers COVID-19 Guidelines

As the leader in the railbike industry, we feel that we have a duty to ensure our company, employees and guests are doing all we can to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Rail Explorers works with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as well as state and local public health authorities to ensure the safety of our guests, employees and contractors.

As Rail Explorers monitors and responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, we closely follow the federal, state and local public health guidelines to guide our decision making at the locations where our divisions operate.

Due to the fact that the COVID-19 guidelines change frequently, it is highly recommended that you also check the local and state guidelines before your Rail Explorers experience so you can stay informed of the guidelines we will be taking. Some guidelines may change and be implemented before we have the ability to update our guidelines on this website.

Staying Safe at Rail Explorers

For the health and safety of others, please choose another time to visit us if:

  • you are experiencing COVID-like symptoms, such as dry cough, fever, difficulty breathing, and/or loss of taste
  • you had close contact with someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 in the last 14 days
  • you are self-isolating or self-quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 or are worried that you may be sick with COVID-19

you must reschedule for a future date outside of the quarantine period.

If it is within 48 hours of your scheduled tour, you will not be charged a rescheduling fee. Full terms and conditions here.

Protecting our Employees

When required, Rail Explorers, issues protective equipment to employees performing critical functions. Rail Explorers staff clean and maintain facilities and equipment to safeguard employee and public health safety.

We track confirmed employee cases of COVID-19 and recovery. We only provide public information where an employee presented an exposure risk to the public based on the guidance of the CDC.

Where employees may have been exposed any of their co-workers, Rail Explorers will work with state, local and federal agencies to follow proper public health procedures to keep everyone safe.
